Life is Hard When You're Three!
Quite the week for our little man. He started school on Monday and we thought, hey we will just throw him into it and put him on the bus. He screamed the entire class on Monday. Yesterday he bit an assistant which is requiring us to have his blood drawn for "blood borne pathogens" and today the bus came earlier without telling us of the change so I had to drive him to school. This meant dragging Lindsay out of bed, putting her in the car in her pj's and having Landon cry the entire way because he was confused because there was no bus. Oh and did I mention the lovely construction on 31, avoid the road at all costs. Tomorrow will be a better day, well until I take him in for the blood draw. OK so friday will be great, I HOPE! What a week!

Happy Father's Day Jim!
Well, I am a few days later, per usual! Happy Father's Day to the best Dad on earth. What can I say about this great Daddy?
You have always been Lindsay's favorite, I can see why, you have a great time playing with her, going to the movies, taking the kids to the park and whatever else makes them happy. You do late nights when duty calls and even let her hammer you in the back with her feet when a storm hits. Somehow she takes over a king size bed. Couldn't be the two American Girl dolls she brings with her that are scared as well.
As for Landon, you have helped to bring out the little man's playful side, he is thrilled when you bring him outside or upstairs to run. You are also the supplement master, tricking that boy into things I couldn't shove down him if I tried.
You are a sensitive man, part of the reason that makes me love you even more, you really and truly feel for our kids and want the very best for them and that makes you one of a kind. You are selfless and always make sure everyone is happy including me. I can be quite the emotional one that has the meltdowns but you are always there to make it better. What can I say. I got lucky when I found you and the kids are lucky to have you as their Daddy, we wouldn't have it any other way. It's like we won the lottery!
Love you,
Jaimie, Lindsay & Landon (and of course Marble the fat cat because you spoil her with treats)

He's a Big Boy Now!
Landon went in for his evaluation at Delacey Education Center because he has "graduated" from Early Intervention. We were of course nervous he would cry the entire time, much to our suprise he really enjoyed all of the therapists and teachers. We went back a week later, last Friday, for his IEP and everything went great. He will be starting summer school June 22nd and will even be riding the bus. Not sure if Mommy likes that idea! He will be in a cross-categorical class which is basically a class of 5-7 kids, most with Autism. He will also still receive Speech & OT along with plenty of one-on-one with his teacher. We are very excited and nervous at the same time. Congrats Landon! Now on to some birthday fun next week!!!
