Are You Smarter Than a 1st Grader???

Lindsay started school the Monday we got back from Vegas and has been doing pretty well. She is a little behind because D158 is pretty advanced compared to D300. She is catching up very quickly though and loving her new school. They sent home a study guide for her MAP testing next week. Yeah, she's learning similes, nouns, synonyms, antonyms, homophones, compound words, etc. You get the picture, the girl is in the 1st grade for crying out loud. She is going to be smarter than me by the 5th grade. Now I know they were onto something when they created that game show!

He's a Big Boy!!!

It's official Landon is FINALLY in a big boy bed, for a special needs kiddo that's pretty impressive and he has done great with the change. Especially since he has had to deal with a 2 week sickness, a very stressful move AND a new school. He is handling it all so well. We love you big boy and are so very proud of you! Next up, potty training, can't wait, ha!

August Vegas Trip

Yes, I am just now posting from a trip a month ago but we have been in moving mode and truly enjoying our new home. Anyways, here are a few pics, we only took our camera one night so there aren't many. We had a great time but were too worried about the mortgage process going on back home and our to do list to really enjoy the trip to the fullest. Not to mention it rained 2 of the 3 days, bummer. Oh well, I still love me some Vegas no matter what!!

This was our first time to see the show @ the Wynn and it was AWESOME!!

Please don't mind my fatness, stress eating does not do me well at all! I am now back to dieting and exercising!!!!
